Fast-rising entrepreneur, humanitarian, and advocate for African tourism, Valerie of Africa, has praised Senator Prince Ned Nwoko for his visionary leadership and unwavering support, which she says has greatly shaped her journey toward greatness.
Valerie expressed deep appreciation to the Senator, describing him as a true inspiration and motivator whose work in youth empowerment, education, and humanitarian development has laid a strong foundation for emerging African changemakers.
"I draw strength and courage from the example set by Senator Prince Ned Nwoko. His commitment to service and excellence has inspired me to pursue my dreams relentlessly. Today, I am proud to say his influence has been instrumental in my story of growth and purpose," Valerie stated.
She noted that Senator Nwoko’s achievements — particularly his 2020 Antarctica expedition to fight malaria in Africa — ignited her own passion for meaningful impact. In fact, she proudly recalled being selected to represent the Senator in Ivory Coast during AFCON 2024, a moment she considers a turning point in her advocacy work.
Now, Valerie is preparing for a monumental journey of her own — a six-day expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa standing at 19,341 feet.
This historic climb, scheduled to commemorate International Girl Child Day on October 11th, is aimed at raising awareness for women in tourism and celebrating the strength, resilience, and rising voice of African women.
My achievements are not just personal victories. They are a call to action — a reminder to young girls and women across Africa that greatness is within reach when you combine resilience, discipline, and purpose,”Valerie added.
Valerie’s journey from mentee to trailblazer is a powerful testament to the ripple effect of visionary leadership. She acknowledges Senator Ned Nwoko’s role in her growth and pledges to continue using her platform to uplift others, especially women and youth, across the continent.
As she heads to Mount Kilimanjaro, Valerie is not just climbing a mountain — she’s carrying the hopes of a generation inspired by African excellence.
